- Prepare 1 tbsp Jeera
- Prepare 1 tbsp Fenugreek seeds
- Make ready 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- Get 2 tbsp Curry leaves
- Take To Temper:
- Prepare 2 tbsp Gingelly oi
- Take 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- Prepare 2 no Red chilies
- Get 5 Garlic chopped
- Make ready 1 tbsp Channa dal
- Take 2 tsp Peanuts
- Get 1 tsp Urad dal

Manathakkali (Makoy in Hindi) in English is 'Black Nightshade', 'Sun Berry', or 'Wonder Berry'. - Now add tamarind water and salt. Cover and cook in medium heat for 10 to 15 minutes until oil separates from the gravy. Stir occasionally.
- Now add jaggery and cook for another 2 minutes. Add ghee and adjust the salt.
- Switch off the flame and serve hot with rice, papad..
