Instructions to make Yogurt Parfait:
- Wash the berries and cut them into small pieces. Add 2-3 tablespoons of yoghurt into cup or mason jar.
- Add half of the chopped fruit. Then the remaining yoghurt. Top with the rest of the mixed berries, granola and maple syrup or any other additional toppings of your choice. Now you are ready to eat!
- For a better taste, seal the lids and store in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
- When you are ready to eat the yoghurt parfaits, simply remove from the fridge, mix and enjoy.
You can use regular yogurt, Greek yogurt, dairy-free yogurt, whatever you like will work fine. I personally like to use regular because I like the texture, but if you want to up your protein or like a thicker consistency, Greek yogurt may be a better option for you. Spoon half of the yogurt into a glass, top with half of the fruit and granola, then repeat with the remaining yogurt, fruit, and granola. Top with half of the yogurt. Note, mix any of your favorite fruits into the yogurt before assembling or layer fruit in between yogurt and granola layers if so desired.
