- Add the eggs, one at a time until thoroughly mixed.
- Add the vanilla essence and beat for a minute.
- Keep the mixer aside. Fold in the flour alternating with the milk until fully combined. Put into your baking tin and bake for 40-50 minutes or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Leave to cool in the tin for about 10 minutes then remove from the tin an cool completely before icing. I used whipping cream for this cake. You can use buttercream, fondant or any other icing of your choice.
