- Cut the okra in half. Fry the mung Daal in a frying pan without oil for 1-2 minutes. Make sure they don’t get burned. Now wash the Daal with warm water.
- Heat up the pan and pour oil. Add onion and garlic. Fry them for few minutes. Now add all spices. Cook them for 5 minutes. Now add Daal. Cook for 10mins in medium flame. Add 1 cup water.
- Now in a different frying pan pour 1/2 tsp oil. Fry the okras for few minutes. Then add these fried okras in the Daal. Cook them for more 10-15 minutes in low flame. It can be served with naans, Paratha or plain rice.
