Sweet Khaja is a Bihari sweetmeat or mithai often stuffed with a khoya or dry fruit filling, deep fried in ghee and then dunked into a fragrant saffron-flavored sugar syrup.   1. Add 1 pinch salt,kalonji,baking powder,1 tbsp oil or ghee.Mix well and add cold water to knead into a tight dough.Make 2 balls out of dough and roll out into a thin disc.Smear ghee in it and sprinkle cornflour.Roll into a long cylindrical shape.Cut into one inch pieces and roll each piece vertically.
  2. Smear sesame and press them on each khaja.Heat oil or ghee and fry those khajas in low flame in two batches.Meanwhile make a sugar syrup by boiling it till sticky.Let it cool for sometime.Dip each khaja in the chasni/ syrup and sprinkle more sesame seeds over the khajas so that they stick to them.Let it cool completely and store in airtight container.Serve sweet khaja on special festivals or anytime with tea.
