- Method.. soaked the Dal in half hour & washed it heat oil in a cooker put cumin seeds curry leaves chopped tamater green chillies sauté it add salt red chilli turmeric powder coriander powder mixed well add dal & 1 glass water mix well lid covered it & 3 whistle it & litrely light mashed it serve time above red chilli powder amchur powder prinkle it.. serve hot enjoy
