Stir Fried Tofu is one of the most favored of recent trending meals on earth. It is appreciated by millions every day. It’s simple, it is quick, it tastes delicious. Stir Fried Tofu is something which I have loved my whole life. They’re nice and they look wonderful.

If using frozen tofu, simmer until completely defrosted. Remove from heat and let drain in a colander lined with paper towels. Stir-fried tofu is not, perhaps, at the top of your list of scintillating weeknight dinners.

The ingredients needed to make Stir Fried Tofu:
  1. Get 300 g tofu (roughly mashed)
  2. Take 10 cm Japanese leek (cut into small pieces)
  3. Get 1/3 mushroom (tear into pieces)
  4. Get 2 eggs (beaten)
  5. Take 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  6. Get 1 pinch crushed red pepper
  7. Prepare 1/2 to 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  8. Take 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds
  9. Prepare Salt and pepper
  10. Get Nori seaweed for topping (optional)

Extra-Firm Tofu has the least amount of liquid. It's what I always recommend for stir fries, especially if it will be cubed like in this General Tso's Tofu Stir Fry. It still has enough liquid to where you will need to squeeze some of the liquid out. Stir-fry two minutes, give the sauce a stir and add to the pan.

Instructions to make Stir Fried Tofu:
  1. Put crushed red pepper and sesame oil in a pan and turn on the low heat. Cook for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  2. Add mashed tofu, Japanese leek, mushroom, turn the heat to medium, and cook until the liquid is almost gone. Put in the soy sauce and stir well.
  3. Pour in the beaten egg and shake the pan while stirring for 10~15 seconds, turn off the heat, add sesame seeds, season with salt and pepper.
  4. Top with seaweed before serving.

Cover and cook for three minutes. Remove the lid, stir the ingredients in the pan, and taste and adjust seasonings. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Stir in onions and cook for one minute. We like broccoli best in this tofu stir-fry, but any mixture of vegetables you have on hand will work.
